Aishwarya and Abhishek Earned 30 Crore from Ad
Bollywood actor couple, Aishwarya and Abhishek earned 30 crore from ad. The couple has recently shot for a kitchenware brand from which they whop Rs.30 crore.
They are known to rake in big amount from their various endorsement projects. This time, both spouses come on board to lend their names to the brand which proves to be a double bonanza. According to sources, the kitchenware brand paid the couple a mind-numbing amount of Rs.30 crore.
“Aishwarya already commands a high fee when it comes to signing advertisement deals. With both she and Abhishek agreeing to become the face of the brand, it was but natural that the remuneration for the couple also had to be big,” a source said.
“Apart from the Bachchans, two other tinsel town couples were also in the race. But Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna lost out to the power couple,” a source close to the brand said.
Beside Aishwarya and Abhishek earned 30 crore from ad, some other celebrity-couples who have done several ads together are listed below:
Amitabh Bachchan & Jaya Bachchan:
Megastar of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan had featured together in an ad for Jewellery, which received a warm welcome. The couple received an amount Rs.10 Crore.
Shahrukh Khan & Gauri Khan:
The King of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan shared screen with his wife Gauri Khan in a furnishing brand. The couple is said to be pegged at a whopping Rs.18 crore.
Saif Ali Khan & Kareena Kapoor:
The couple has done a mobile phone and also in a shampoo brand commercial that allegedly paid them Rs.10 crore.
Ajay Devg & Kajol:
The couple has been endorsing a home appliance brand for more than two years for which they have been paid Rs.7.5 crore.
John Abraham & Bipasha Basu:
Even after terminating their relationship, Bipasha and John faced each other for a professional commitment. They shot for a commercial together for a skincare brand which paid them Rs.4 crore reportedly.
However the most prominent couple, Aishwarya and Abhishek earned 30 crore from ad which is a massive amount ever paid for an advertisement.
