Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5: Rani Mukerji’s magic does NOT work!

When the Aiyyaa actor popped up on the celebrity dance reality show, her ‘act’ only made us go ‘aiyyaa’ with despair

Rani Mukerji will soon be seen again on the bada parda in Sachin Kundalkar’s Aiyya. Hmmm, and while we’re still mulling over what to make of her role in the movie – right now we are oscillating between over-the-top or plain hatke – there’s no dilemma over Rani’s appearance in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5’s upcoming episode. And that’s ‘coz one look at the pics makes it amply clear that Mukerji’s stylist is on leave. We’re right, aren’t we, RM?

What makes us say so? Simblee this: Rani’s sari that’s draped oh-so-haphazardly around her. Also, the colour is so bleah. And just look at the blouse-straps going loopy over and around her shoulder…Tch tch!

Well, we can go on and on about what’s wrong with Rani’s look here. But c’mon, let’s look at the brighter side. Yup, don’t look so surprised, ‘coz there IS one here. And that’s Rani sharing stage withMadhuri Dixit. How exciting, given that the two have never shared screen space!

Looks like the two danced, joked and enjoyed some masti filled moments with Karan Johar and Manish Paul, no? Wow, we’re so looking forward to that. More so because we hope (really, from the depths of our hearts) that all that dhamaal will take our attention off Rani’s dismal dressing. What say, peeps – will it?
